The Jewish Patient Sensitivity Video and the accompanying handbook, The Jewish Laws and Customs handbook were produced for the purpose of educating medical personnel and caregivers as to the needs of their Orthodox Jewish Patients.
Through an understanding of their religious requirements and cultural differences, a better rapport can be established between caregiver and patient. Since the objective is the well-being of the patient, it is therefore a priority to ensure that these crucial needs be understood.
